The Group acquired a 50,000sqft factory on a 2.5acre site let to SCL Coatings Ltd, which manufactures specialists’ coatings for wall-paper. Part of the site and neighboring property had been contaminated as a result of leaks to chemical storage tanks. Working with the tenant and the Environmental Agency we were able to organise the site clean up thereby enabling the tenant to obtain commercial mortgage finance in order to purchase the property from us.
